Refunds & payments

This page explains how FOF Records handles payments, refunds, and related issues for services purchased through the Site, including the playlist placement order flow. This page is part of your agreement with us; it works together with our Terms of service and, for playlist purchases, the Playlist placement terms.
Payment processing
We use a third-party payment processor (e.g. Stripe) to take payment. When you check out, you will also be subject to that processor’s terms, privacy policy, and security practices. FOF Records does not store your full card number on our own servers; we may receive a payment confirmation, transaction ID, and limited billing metadata needed to deliver your order and maintain records.
Playlist placement purchases — all sales final
Playlist placement orders are final and non-refundable once the payment is submitted and accepted, except where a refund is required by applicable law. This reflects that placement capacity and related execution work are committed when your order is placed. Payment does not guarantee any specific editorial outcome (for example, inclusion on a particular Spotify-curated playlist or a particular number of streams). Other services & label consideration
If you work with FOF Records under a separate written statement of work, contract, or invoice, the refund and cancellation terms in that document control. In the absence of a signed document, we handle disputes case-by-case in good faith, but we are not obliged to offer refunds for completed work or for services that have already been delivered or started, unless the law says otherwise.
Disputes and chargebacks
If you have a concern, contact hello@fofrecordlabel.com first so we can try to resolve it. If you file a credit-card chargeback or payment dispute, we may provide your payment and order records to the card network or processor to demonstrate delivery of the service. Where chargebacks are filed in bad faith, we may refuse future business and pursue available remedies.
Failed or reversed payments
If a payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel or not begin the related service until payment succeeds. We are not responsible for overdraft, foreign exchange, or other fees your bank or card issuer charges.
Taxes
Prices shown on the Site may be exclusive of sales, VAT, or other taxes, depending on your location. You are responsible for any taxes that apply. Our processor may add or collect tax where required.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
